Thursday, the Sisters had their car broken into - someone smashed a window in and stole some clothes and other stuff. Honestly, I'm a little surprised that doesn't happen a lot more around here.
Tuesday, we got our tire repaired because we got a screw in it.
Tuesday was just one of "those days" where every house we knocked on either no on answered, or they rejected us. It was also really hot - it was the hottest it's been ever since June. (why was June the hottest month this year? I hath no idea.)
On Monday, we went to the University of Houston to go bowling. There was a group of about ten or so of us from this mission, and some other missionaries from the Houston mission there. The University of Houston is just outside of the mission boundaries, but President Larkin has given standing permission that we can go there on P-day, as long as we come right back into the mission boundaries. The reason we went to the UoH? It's cheaper there than at a normal bowling alley.
Tuesday was P-day. We got seventeen missionaries in the area together and played wiffleball and kickball. Some of us were going to go roller skating afterwards, but we found out the skating park opened at 5pm. So we went to the church and hung out there. While other missionaries were calling their family, I practiced the organ and took a nap on one of the chapel pews.
